Leverage Change: 8 Ways to Achieve Faster, Easier, Better Results

People struggle with change. They complain it is hard. Takes too long. Costs too much. And at the end of the day is all too often, ineffective.

Look at your own experience. Wouldn’t you jump at the chance to make the changes in your own life and work faster, easier and better?

From Fortune 500 conglomerates to start-up operations, change is the challenge of the day. Leaders want to create more competitive businesses. People want to create safer, more livable cities. Governments would love to find faster, easier and better ways to get more done with less. Individuals strive to realize more of their potential.

Wouldn’t it be great if there were a systematic way to make all of these dreams come true?

    There is.

It’s called Leverage Change. Pull on any of the 8 Levers and you’ll accelerate and sustain any and all change work you are doing. There’s no need to radically shift course. No requirement to stop doing what you’ve been doing. Just supplement your current change work with these 8 tried and true strategies and you too can find your way to a world of faster, easier and better change. In the case of the 8 Levers, strategic adjustments lead to big changes that directly correlate to the speed, ease and effectiveness with which you accomplish the change you are seeking.

      Coffee Chat! (Virtual Event)

      TD as a Consultant:
How to say NO (and still keep your job!)

We're back with our coffee chats- a new forum and time for our members to connect!

These informal events are a great way to get to know your board members and share with one another.

This Coffee Chat starts at 12 PM—bring yourself and bring your coffee!

Topic for this month's chat: This casual session will explore how we as TD professionals can offer our insights and expertise and- at times- objections! - to what the busoness is asking us to do. Whether you're an internal TD team member or working as a consultant, being able to say "no" is required if we;re going to be a good partner- but how do we do that without getting veto'd, left out, or even fired?

Bring your success stories and challenges- no matter the size!- and let's learn from each other!

      Agenda:

      12:00 - 12:05 am Welcome & grab a coffee (or lunch!)!

      12:05 - 12:40 am Discussion

      12:40 - 12:45 am Meeting Close

Level 3 Evaluations Made Simple, Credible, and Actionable

        (Virtual Event)

Knowing whether or not participants apply back on the job what they learned in a training program is a critical issue for both L&D departments and the businesses they support. Demonstrating that learning is applied speaks directly to L&D's ability to be viewed as a credible partner by senior executives. An ROI Institute research study makes this very point. It found that employee application of training is one of the top three metrics senior executives are most interested in seeing from their L&D partners. However, when asked to what extent they were currently getting this type of data, only 11% of CEOs reported receiving it.

So, why don't more L&D departments conduct Level 3 evaluations? A frequent answer is because it's too complicated. A second reason is that L&D team members lack the knowledge and skills needed to collect and analyze Level 3 data.

In this informative, highly engaging session, participants will learn how to use a revolutionary new easy-to-implement Level 3 evaluation methodology. A method that is simple and produces credible, actionable Level 3 evaluation data.

        Learning Objectives:

After attending this session, participants will be able to:

        • Use facts from a recent ATD research study to benchmark the use of Level 3 evaluations in an organization.
        • Conduct a focus group using three key questions to collect the data needed to conduct a Level 3 evaluation.
        • Calculate a best case, a worst-case, and a most likely case training transfer percentage associated with a learning program.

        Agenda:

        6:00 - 6:05 pm Welcome & Introductions
